Built for platforms that take a share

The four things that matter when sellers pay you.

A fee plus a share, on one invoice

$299 a month plus 2.9% of processed volume, as one subscription and one invoice. The invoice shows the base, the volume and the share, line by line.

$299 plus 2.9% of $84,000 · $2,735.00
Volume metered as it happens

Send the volume as it moves through the platform; it is counted once even if you send it twice, and it lands on the next invoice.

More than one plan for sellers

A starter plan with a smaller fee and a bigger share, a pro plan the other way round. A seller moves between them from their own page, and the change is worked out to the day.

A worked example

How a marketplace with 96 sellers runs on yRecurring.

Before

Handshake charges sellers a platform fee plus a share of what they process. The share was worked out in a spreadsheet each month and invoiced by hand, and sellers questioned the number.

What they set up
  1. 01$299 a month plus 2.9% of processed volume as one subscription, and a starter plan with a smaller fee for new sellers.
  2. 02Volume sent as it moves through the platform, counted once.
  3. 0396 sellers imported before month end, billing dates kept.
A year later
  • Every invoice shows the base, the volume and the share, line by line. The questions stopped.
  • Month end invoicing takes no one's afternoon.
  • Sellers see their own invoices and card on a page in Handshake's name.

Move your sellers over before month end.

Export your sellers from the tool you use now as a spreadsheet, upload it, and check the preview line by line. Nothing is written until you approve it, and no seller gets an email about an old invoice. Billing dates carry over, so nobody is charged twice.

Questions, answered

Before you move a single customer.

Can I charge a fee plus a percentage?

Yes. A flat fee and a share of volume on one subscription, with the base, the volume and the share on every invoice.

How does the volume get in?

Send it as it happens. Each record carries an id, so a repeat is counted once, and the total lands on the next invoice.

Can I have more than one plan for sellers?

Yes. Two or three plans with a different fee and share each, and sellers move between them from their own page; the change is worked out to the day.

Can sellers see their own invoices?

Yes. Their own page shows every invoice, the card on file and the plan, in your name.

What if I want to leave?

Export every seller, invoice and volume record any month, in open formats. No long term contract on self serve plans and no exit fees.
